For the “favorite book project” I asked the members of a reading-group in Jingdezhen about their favorite book.

22 people replied, with their name, age and informations about their selected favorite book.

I searched for the respective booktitles in internet bookshops, to find used books with the same title, cover and

quality.  Finally I produced the chosen books in porcelain and painted the top and the sides of the objects.

Part of the project are two leaflets, one in English and one in Chinese Language, with information about the

participants of the project the books they have chosen.
